Outer Range S2

Starts streaming: May 16

‘Outer Range’ Season 2 is coming after a long wait since Season 1 premiered in 2022. Season 2 will have seven episodes, one less than Season 1. All seven episodes will be available on May 16. Unlike Season 1, where episodes were released two at a time weekly, Season 2 will drop all at once.

Josh Brolin will return as the lead in Season 2, and we can expect to see Lili Taylor, Imogen Poots, Tamara Podemski, and Lewis Pullman again. Some characters from Season 1 might not return as regularly, but we’ve seen them in Season 2’s promotional images, so they’ll likely make appearances. There are also new cast members joining, but we don’t know much about their roles yet.

Season 2 might feel different because there’s a new person in charge. Brian Watkins, who wrote Season 1 and was the showrunner, has been replaced by Charles Murray, who has a lot of experience in TV. Also, Josh Brolin will direct one of the episodes this season.
